Photograph it
This is a big new one, and please don’t forget it. You now need to take photos throughout your build of lots of things to shows us what you have used and installed.
These include foundation insulation, wall insulation, roof, windows, sealing or gaps that affect airtightness, heating, hot water tank, ventilation systems, PV panels and on it goes.

Don't overheat it.
We all understand we have to save energy heating our houses in the cooler months and save lots of money, but now you have to check you save money keeping your house cool in the hotter months.
Overheating calculations are now also a requirement.
